Hicks Campaign Builds Quick Momentum and Shows Strong Support
JACKSONVILLE, FL – On May 11, Joshua Hicks announced his entry into the race for the Florida House of Representatives, District 11 in Duval and Nassau counties.
The Hicks campaign is reporting that it raised $18,817.94 in the first three weeks of the campaign, kicking off a competitive challenge to Republican incumbent, Representative Cord Byrd. The campaign received 259 donations from 228 unique donors in a show of strong grassroots support.
Democratic candidate Joshua Hicks issued the following statement:

We are building a strong, grassroots campaign that will have the resources needed to deliver our ‘People First’ message to voters throughout our First Coast community.
